In addition, you won't have a sensitivity to hot and cold after you have a composite resin filling which is often the case with silver mercury fillings.

You can usually replace your metal fillings in one office visit, depending on how many need to be restored. Dr. Wendling will customize the perfect composite to match the natural color of your teeth. Then, after removing the old filling and any damaged tooth material and decay she'll fill the cavity and sculpt the composite to look and feel like your natural tooth.
